Also, for interested parties, here are the sides of the canvas.
(Also also, I feel I should mention that the gold honeycomb-shapes were cut out of candy wrappers. I was feeling bad about effectively using garbage for my collage and then went wait. Wait Rachel, what game series/character are you talking about here? Candy wrappers are FINE.)
I I took pictures of Jack instead of scanning him and now he looks SO MUCH BETTER, let’s pretend that last post didn’t happen.
Experimenting with beeswax collage methods again some more. This is going to be a birthday present for my brother, who is fond of Twitch Plays Pokemon. (Which surprised me! Pleasantly.)
Snow White meets Tolkien-style dwarves complete with alternate standards of gender performance, she will make a lovely dwarf maiden, it’s a pity she doesn’t have a beard but we’re sure we’ll think of something.
(I had a much more thoughtful write up for this but this gives the gist for now. This piece is going to SCBWI-conference with me for critiquing!)
I colored/collaged onto one of the witches I drew and then dropped her onto a rainbowvomit background. Idk what she was before but she is a collage-and-color witch now. Like Rainbow Brite but with paper and photoshop filters. YEAH!
